This Med Aide should not be confused with the other Med Aide a.k.a.Med Tech.
A Med Tech can only work in Adult Care Homes.
Med Aides that finish this program are often more astute in the healthcare field and make less medication errors. Med Aides are taught safe medication administration, how to read a medication administration record (MAR) and to transcribe physician orders accurately and efficiently. |
